Margaret Meyer, daughter of Charles Garrison Meyer and Sara Willets (Leavitt) Meyer, was born on 28 Oct. 1905 at Bayside, Queens, New York.^[1][2] She appeared on the census of 29 April 1930 in the home of her parents at Queens, Queens, New York. In addition to her family there were thirteen servants, a butler, a cook, three maids, two holsters, two gardeners, two sailors, and two chauffeurs.^[3]

She married Kenneth Appleton Ives on 10 May 1930 at Queens, New York.^[4][5]
