Frances was the daughter of Nathan Miers Jr. and Nancy Jennings. She is named in Nathan's will[1]. Her burial site is unknown but is believed to be a non-cemetery burial.
Her marriage at 13 may seem unusual; but, in that time period it wasn't. According to the Morgan County Marriage Book, 1808-1818, Page 96, the marriage banns was posted 8 April 1813. The marriage itself would have been solemnized at some time after that date.
The memorial at findagrave.com has her birthplace as Fayette County, Georgia; however, her parents married in 1799 in South Carolina indicating that is more likely her birthplace.
