Biography

Susanna Miller was born July 3, 1785 in Caroline, Virginia. She died in 1826 in Bedford, Bedford, Virginia.

Daughter of Major Simon Miller (1708-1784) and Ann Bell (1727-Deceased).

Marriage

1st marriage: Susanna Miller married Zachariah Callaway on December 18, 1774 in Bedford County, Virginia. Surety was given by Robert Alexander.[1]

Children:

  1. Amelia Callaway (1775–1855).
  2. Nancy Calloway (1776–1830).

2nd marriage: Susanna (Miller) Callaway married James Hylton (Hilton) on February 19, 1789 in Bedford County, Virginia. Surety was given by Isaac Wade. The couple was married by Rev. James Mitchell.

Children:

  1. Susan Hilton (1795–Deceased).
  2. Lucy Hilton (1797–Deceased).
  3. Robertson Hilton (1799–Deceased).
