Biography

Marie Eugenie Millier was born at Saint-Jude, Quebec on Oct. 10, 1873 and she was baptized there the next day. [1] She is the first child of nine and the first of three known daughters of Antoine Rodrigue Migué and Marie Labossiere.

Shortly after her birth, her family moved to the United States and settled in Putnam, CT.

Eugenie Millier married Napoleon Labonte about 1897.

1900 US Census Connecticut WIndham Putnam Ward 3 ED 523 Sheet 25B Lines 75-77: Napoleon Labonte, 26; Eugene Labonte (Millier), 27; daughter, Celina Labonte, 2. [2] Census Date: June 21, 1900. Mother has had one child to date.

1910 US Census Connecticut Windham Putnam Ward 3 ED 583 Sheet 12B Lines 51-55: Napoleon Labonte, 35; Eugini Labonte (Millier), 36; three Labonte children: Telesphore, 10; Leo, 2; Achwillda, 1. [3] Census Date: April 22, 1910. Mother has now had six children and three have died.

1920 US Census Connecticut Windham Thompspn ED 350 Sheet 28A Lines 31-35: Napoleon Labonte, 47; Jennie Labonte (Millier), 47; three Labonte sons: Telesphore, 17; Leo, 12; Lewis, 10. [4] Census Date : Jan. 30, 1920.

1930 US Census Connecticut Windham Thompson ED 8-27 Sheet 20B Lines 64-68: Napoleon Labonte, 59; Jennie Labonte (Millier), 57; two Labonte sons: Homer, 22; Louis, 21; wife's sister, Clara Millier, 45. [5] Census Date: April 17, 1930.

Eugenie Millier passed away in 1936 likely in Connecticut and she was buried at Saint Mary Cemetery in Putnam. CT. [6] She was about 63-64 years old.
