Biography
Robert Mitchell was born about 1795, in Fayette, Kentucky, United States His father was Samuel Mitchell and his mother, Isabelle (McMains) Mitchell. He married Martha or Patsy Suter on 23 September 1819, in Owen, Kentucky, United States. [1] They were the parents of 3 sons and 3 daughters. He died about 1848, in Matamoros, Escárcega, Campeche, Mexico, at the age of 55, and was buried in Matamoros, Escárcega, Campeche, Mexico.
