Biography
Thomas Mitchell was born about 1797, in Franklin, Kentucky, United States. His father, was Samuel Mitchell, and his mother, Isabelle (McMains) Mitchell. He married Mary "Polly" Suter on 17 January 1823, in Owen, Kentucky, United States. [1] They were the parents of 2 sons and 5 daughters. He lived in Shawswick, Shawswick Township, Lawrence, Indiana, United States in 1870 and Bedford, Shawswick Township, Lawrence, Indiana, United States in 1880. He died after 1880, in Lawrence, Indiana, United States, at the age of 82
