Biography
Reginald was born about 1564, the eldest son of William Mohun and his first wife, Elizabeth Horsey.[1] [2]He was returned to Parliament as member for Fowey in 1584 and again in 1586 and succeeded his father on the 6th of April 1588.[2]
On the 7th of September 1589 he married Mary Killigrew, daughter of Henry Killigrew, who bore him an only son.[2][1]
Before 1593, he married a second wife, Philippa Hele, daughter of John Hele and his wife, Mary Warwick, [3][1] who bore him a son, John, and a daughter, Elizabeth. [3] Reginald was knighted in 1599. [2]
His third wife whom he married before 1604 was Dorothy Chudleigh, daughter of John Chudleigh. [1] [2]She bore him 3 sons and four daughters.[2] He was created Baronet on the 26th of November 1611,[2] and was returned to Parliament again in 1614 as member for East Looe.[2]
He died on the 26th of December 1639. [2]
