Daniel Moore signed a general affidavit for his sister, Perlina (Paulina) Moore Dennis, widow of Pleasant Dennis on June 2, 1903. At that time, Daniel lived in Guthrie City, Logan Co., Oklahoma. The affidavit states: "That Perlina Moore, now Perlina Dennis is a sister of affiant; and is older than affiant. That affiant remembers that said Perlina was married to Pleasant Dennis; was married at home in my father's house in Estil Co., Ky. as well as I now remember in May or June about 1855; cannot give exact dates as I have no record, but know they was married by Thos. Carson, a M. G.

Affiant

I was present when they was married. Jane Rainey??, now living was present at marriage, all others are dead. Know that said Perlina Moore had never been previously married; know they lived together as husband and wife from date of marriage to death of Pleasant Dennis, they was known as husband and wife, raised a family of children, and know they was never divorced from each other."
