Both couples Abel and Sarah, and John and Lora, had daughters named Margaret of similar age on 1850 census. Margaret Jane is the one who married Wyatt. As you found a M/R which names Abel as wife's father, apparently this change is correct. It has to be the Abel b. 1814, prob. m. 1837.
