Alexander was born in 1683 to Sir William Morison and Janet Rocheid . He was Christened on 27 Jan 1683 in Edinburgh [1]
As the first born son he should have inherited the land but he died sometime in 1703 in Bath England while taking the waters due to falling ill while traveling abroad (See Research Notes)

- The only reference found for the death of Alexander is from secondary sources such as The Genealogy of the Morrison Origins in Scotland pg 121 which states he was buired in Preston Kirk 8 May 1703 Ruddock-364 16:30, 13 June 2020 (UTC)
