Biography

Cynthia was born on 21 March 1880 in Texas. She was the daughter of Tapleton Washington Morton and Nancy Jane (Gilbert) Morton. In 1880, they were living in Morris County, Texas and she was 3 months old.[1]

She married Jonathan Daily.[2]

Cynthia died at the age of about 94 on 15 April 1974 in Purcell, McClain, Oklahoma. She is buried at Hillside Cemetery in Purcell, Oklahoma.[3]

The census taker either erred, or was given erroneous data, on Nancy's parents birthstates. Both should be SC (South Carolina). Nancy's age indicates a birth date in 1852 and by mid June. Tapley was listed as a farmer.
