Biography

Elizabeth "Lizzie" Mosey was born on April 5, 1885, the daughter of Jacob Mosey and Susanna Wise Mosey. She grew up in Darke County, Ohio.

Elizabeth was the sister of Phoebe Ann Mosey, better known as Annie Oakley who died in November 1926.

Elizabeth never married or had children. She lived at home and helped her mother by being a caregiver to her younger siblings.

Elizabeth Mosey died at age 26 and was buried near her father in Mendenhall Cemetery in Yorkshire, Ohio.
