Biography

Bird NANCE was born on July 24, 1772, in Henry, Virginia, his father, Reuben, was 27 and his mother, Amy, was 25. He married Mary "Polly" HANNAH and they had six children together. He then married Sarah Louise "Sally" MACK and they had four children together. He died on April 15, 1815, in Natchez, Mississippi, at the age of 42, and was buried there.

Research Dispute

Franklin, Fairfax County, VA questionable as birth for Bird Nance as I found no record Reuben Nance (1745-1812) was in Fairfax Co. VA. Bet. 1771-1773 Reuben is either in Brunswick or Mecklenburg Co. VA then moves to Henry Co. VA by 1773
