Biography
ELIZABETH NELSON Cole 1708-1748
Elizabeth Nelson was born on the 3rd of June 1708, the daughter of Thomas Nelson 1675-1755 and his wife, Hope HUCKINS 1677-1782(?) of Middleborough, Plymouth, Massachusetts.[1]
On the 19th of November 1730, Miss Elizabeth Nelson married Benjamin Cole 1706-1776 in Massachusetts.[2], and they were the Parents of:
- Isaiah Cole 1731–1810
- Hope Cole 1733–1810
- Lois Cole 1734–1781
- Hannah Cole 1736–1787
- Andrew Cole 1738–1788
- Lillis Cole 1745–1793
- Elizabeth Cole 1748–[3]
Elizabeth was baptized as an adult at the Swansea Baptist Church on 17 October 1734.[4]
Mrs Elizabeth Nelson Cole passed away on the 25th of March 1748, in Swansea, Bristol County, Massachusetts, and is interred in the Old Baptist Church Cemetery located in Swansea, Bristol, Massachusetts.[5]
