Biography
Margaret daughter of John Newlove first married George Hinsley on July 31, 1606 at Huggate, East Riding of Yorkshire.[1] After George Hinsley's death she married John Hardy.

As can be seen Wurts and Brodie are incorrect showing John Hardy married Margaret Newton daughter of Sir Robert Newton. Dugdales Visitation of Yorkshire 1665 shows John and Margaret Hardy cannot be the parents of a Richard who was the father of John Hardy, "Immigrant to Isle of Wight VA", as all their children were born after 1610
