Sarah was born in 1891 in Gransha, Islandmagee, County Antrim, Ireland, the daughter of Frederick Niblock, a farmer, and Jane Hawthorne. Her birth was registered by Mary Hawthorne of Gransha.[1] She was baptised on 05-Jan-1892 in 1st Islandmagee Presbyterian Church.[2]
On October 20th, 1916 Sarah married Alexander Kane in the 1st Presbyterian Church in Islandmagee, County Antrim, Ireland. Alexander was recorded as Full Age, a Bachelor, and a Master Mariner residing in Mullaghdubh, Islandmagee and Sarah was recorded as Full Age, and a Spinster residing in Gransha, Islandmagee. The witnesses were John Kane and Mary Elizabeth Niblock.[3]
Sarah passed away on January 21st, 1949, aged 57, probably in Islandmagee, County Antrim, Northern Ireland.[4] She is interred in Islandmagee "New" Cemetery (Plot# A4) with her Husband Alexander.[5]
