Biography

Margaret was born on April 27th, 1893 in Gransha, Islandmagee, County Antrim, Ireland, the daughter of Fred Niblock, a farmer, and Jane Hawthorne. Her birth was registered by Mary Hawthorn(e) who was present at the time. ^[1]She was baptised on 05-Jun-1893 in 1st Islandmagee Presbyterian Church.^[2]

In 1901 she was living with her parents Frederick and Jane and her siblings Mary, Sarah, Henry and Fred and a servant John Lennon in Gransha, County Antrim. She was 7, single and a scholar ^[3]

On November 18th, 1932 Margaret married David Barbour.^[4]

Margaret passed away on January 23rd, 1946 (Age 52).^[5] She is interred in St. John's Church of Ireland Graveyard, in Islandmagee.^[6]

Niblock died 24th May 1926 aged 67 years. Also his wife Jane Niblock died 5th May 1934 aged 73 years. Also his son in law David BARBOUR who was lost at sea 3rd Feb. 1943. And Margaret Robina, wife of above David Barbour, died 23rd January 1946. Also his son Henry Brennan Niblock died 27th Jan. 1970 aged 76 years. And his daughter Mary Elizabeth Niblock died 9th Jan. 1972 aged 75 years.
