Stanley Leroy Nichols was born on 14 Jan. 1917[1] at Madison, Dane Co., Wisconsin, USA.[2] He and his parents appeared on the census of 17 Jan. 1920 in the household of his grandparents, George T. Godden and Etta (--?--) Godden, at 1230 Dayton St., Madison, Dane Co., Wisconsin.[3] He appeared on the census of 16 April 1930 in the household of his parents, Arthur Henry Nichols and Florence (Godden) Nichols, at Madison, Dane Co., Wisconsin.[4] He was an office clerk at a packing house office when he appeared on the census of 8 April 1940 in the household of his parents at Madison, Dane County, Wisconsin.[5] He began military service in the US Army on 17 March 1941 at Milwaukee, Milwaukee Co., Wisconsin.[6] He ended military service on 1 Oct. 1945.[7]
He died on 3 April 1995[1] at McFarland, Dane Co., Wisconsin, at age 78.[2]
