Jasper William Nix, son of James Nix and Elizabeth (Collins) Nix, was born about 1847 in Union County, Georgia.[1]
He married Harriett Caroline "Tina" Duckworth, daughter of David L. Duckworth and Mary (Williamson) Duckworth, on 2 April 1865 at Union County, Georgia.[1]
He was a farmer when he and Harriett appeared on the census of 11 June 1900 at Choestoe, Union County, Georgia.[2]
He married Margaret Ballew, daughter of Sidney T. Ballew and Mary J. (Finch) Ballew, [1]
Jasper died in 1926 and was buried at Union Baptist Cemetery, Choestoe, Union County, Georgia. His memorial has photos, biographical material and links to those of family members.[1]
