The John Nixon b 1708 in Perquimans was the son of Zachariah Nixon and had 4 wives. The first two were named Elizabeth, the 3rd Mary and the 4th Dorothy. See Hinshaw Encyclopedia of American Quaker Genealogy, Vol 1 p 109 and 110. Hinshaw does not appear to give the maiden name of the second Elizabeth. Is there a source which gives her maiden name as Moore?
