Neil, do you happen to speak any other languages? Would you check out our languages template and add it to your biography? For example you might add

{{ Languages | en | fr-2 | ga-1 }}

to the top of your biography if you speak English natively, intermediate French and basic Irish, or you could use de-4 to specify near-native German or ru-1 for basic Russian, and so forth up to ten languages.

It really helps to know who speaks all the different languages used on WikiTree! If you only speak English, you're very welcome to use this text to make that clear:

{{ Languages | en }}

Thanks,

Karen

Hi Neil,

Warm greetings from Tasmania via County Cork, Rotterdam and southern England. Have been keeping one eye on your O'Sullivan work and hoping you may reveal something back beyond 1828 Bearehaven...alas, looks unlikely! Thanks for your comments on Goo. Those who die early and / or without children can easily be overlooked in family reminiscences. We lived near to where she drowned and passed the spot almost daily. I can't help thinking she deserves to be acknowledged and remembered in some form. Best of luck for the rest of your family hunt, Adam

Neil, how is it going ? I am glad you reminded me about the Irish censuses of 1901 and 1911 in Ireland . I have to work on my family over there ! My Sullivans ( I have two gr-gr-grandmothers named Ellen Sullivan ! ) are from County Kerry.

Hello. I hope that posting this comment confirms my intent to volunteer to do wiki genealogy and to follow the rules and be respectful of everyone's contributions.

Thanks to the digital archives of the Irish censuses of 1901 and 1911, my sister and I have been able to find more about our father's family than perhaps even our father knew. We have already been in touch with two distant cousins as a result (one of who provided an incredible document with a family history!). I hope to join this community in order to find out more about our family and others. Thank you for creating this invaluable forum and making it accessible to us!
