Biography

Fachtna was born on 8th October 1902 in Shannon Square (now Emmet Square), Clonakilty, County Cork. [1] He was the son of Patrick O'Driscoll and Margaret Collins-O'Driscoll (née Collins). He was recorded in Carrigroe, County Cork, living with his father, on the 1911 Census. [2] He married Elizabeth McNamara on 22nd February 1933 in Donnybrook, County Dublin. [3] He passed away on 26th July 1938 at 4 Upper Pembroke Street, Dublin [4] and was buried in Glasnevin Cemetery. [5]
