Charles was a Friend (Quaker)
Charles was born about 1673 and he passed away in 1711. Married Margret. Brother: Wade. Parents unknown.
Relationship to Edward Wade
- Edward Wade gave legacies to Charles and Wade Oakford, and his wife Prudence referred to Charles Oakford as a kinsman (see here). There is certainly a relationship between the brothers Charles and Wade Oakford and the Wade family. Thomas Shourds believes, without detailing exactly why, that they were nephews of Edward Wade.[1]
