The ancestry of this Mary Oliver, who married George Drake, is unknown. A careful search of online sources found no evidence of her ancestry. The "usual suspect" for finding real information, which can be followed up, are the Rootsweb mailing lists around 1998-2001. These contain copious pointers to real, definitive, sources.

From marriage records we know that George Drake married Mary Oliver, daughter of William (Oliver) and Mary in Piscataway on Nov. 13, 1677.

That is all that I have been able to find. No one lists a source for the last name or parents of Mary, wife of William, nor any information on older generations. There is no contemporary data from the purported ancestors William Oliver and Mary Ackerly that connect them to her.

If no such info is provided in due time I will disconnect her parents.

Biography

Mary Oliver was the daughter of William Oliver & Mary of Elizabethtown. Unsourced references frequently William Oliver's wife's name as Mary Ackerly. "History of Piscataway Twp 1666-1976" p 44 says Hopewell Hull & George Drake chosen to make the bridge at John Pounds & bringe it to a Towne Rate. p 51 lists George Drake & others were chosen as "SELECT MEN" to take care of the town in 1692.

Mary married Captain George DRAKE, son of Captain Francis DRAKE and Mary Ann WALKER, on 13 Nov 1677 in Piscataway, Middlesex Co. N.J.(Captain George DRAKE was born about 1650 in Piscataway, Middlesex, NJ, died on 8 Nov 1710 in Woodbridge, Middlesex Co., New Jersey and was buried in Piscataway, Middlesex, New Jersey.)
