^[1] Levi Orwig, 73, Suffers Fatal Stroke On Farm Near Glen Rock. MISSING TWELVE HOURS. Glen Rock. July 18 -- Levi Orwig, 73, was found dead at 6 o'clock this morning on his farm in Codorus township, near this place. Death was due to a cerebral hemorrhage, according to Coroner L. U. Zech, who later made an investigation. Mr. Orwig, a retired farmer, who lived with his son and daughter-in-law. Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Orwig. and who had been in ill health for several years, left his son's home on Saturday afternoon about 3 o'clock, with his daughter-in-law, who drove him over to his own farm, a distance of about three miles. His farm was tenanted and he had gone there to look over the fields. He left there about 4:30 o'clock and was last seen alive by the tenant farmer. When he did not return for quite some time, his son became worried and formed a searching party. The search lasted until 1 a. m., this morning and was again resumed at 4 a. m. The end of the quest was reached when Henry Smith, a member of the searching party, found the body on Mr. Orwig's own farm, just a quarter of a mile from the home. The deceased is survived be the following children: Mrs. Clinton Berwager, Stewartstown R. D. 2; Clarence Orwig, Glen Rock R. D. 1: Preston Orwig. Glen Rock R. D. 2; Mrs. Norman Midwig, Shrewsbury; Carroll Orwig, Red Lion; two brothers, Simon Orwig, stewartstown R. D.; George Orwig. Bridgeton; one sister, Mrs. Jemima Schmuck, Stewartstown R D.; four step-sisters, Mrs. Irwin Henry, Glen Rock RD.; Mrs. Cora Zeigler, Dallastown; Mrs. Sara Zeigler, Stewartstown; Mrs. Lydia Ann Metzel, York; eleven grandchildren. Funeral services will held from tIhe home of his son and daughter-in- law, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Orwig, Wednesday at 9:30 a. m. Rev. Hugo Schroeder, pastor of the Glen Rock Lutheran charge, will officiate. Interment will be made in the Sadler's cemetery. "
