Research Notes

Parents are marked uncertain only because of his likely birthdate. Nathaniel is referred to as Benjamin Parker's brother in the administration of their father's estate, so there's no question that he is in the correct family group. However if he married by 1704, the average age of men being about 25, places his date of birth around 1679 [although he could be a few years younger]. Since Hannah was reported to have had a child out of wedlock around 1678, it raises the possibility that Nathaniel was that child. Without a birth date for Nathaniel, or a marriage record for Joseph & Hannah, several possibilities remain open: Nathaniel could be a child from an earlier marriage of Joseph, he could be Hannah's child from a relationship outside of marriage and Joseph adopted him, or perhaps that relationship was with Joseph.

I think this is Parker-11856, born 1687 and married Lydia Nutting. Possible typo on century? Parker-11856 is the father of Deliverance.
