On 20 May 1867, David Parker married Winney Hunter in Floyd, Kentucky, USA. [2]

At the time of the 1880 US Census, head of household David Parker (age 38, born in KY) was employed as a Farmer and living in Carter, Kentucky with his wife, Winnie Parker (age 37, born in KY); son Elisha Parker (age 11, born in KY); son James Parker (age 9, born in KY); son John Parker (age 7, born in KY); son Robin Parker (age 5, born in KY); son Lewis Parker (age 3, born in KY); and son Merrell Parker (age 1, born in KY). Both of David's parents were born in Kentucky; both of Winnie's parents were born in Kentucky. [3]

In 1887, David Parker married Leah Parsons (B: 1869). [4]

On 21 Jun 1900 at the time of the 1900 US Census, head of household David Parker (age 52, born Jun 1848 in KY) was employed as a Teamster and living in a home he rented in New Virginia, Kentucky with his wife, Leah Parker (age 31, born Nov 1869 in KY); daughter Bessie Parker (age 7, born Apr 1893 in KY); son Willard Parker (age 2, born Apr 1898 in KY); and son Frank Parker (age 14, born Sep 1886 in KY). David and Leah had been married for 12 years. Leah had given birth to five children, two of whom were still alive at that time. Both of David's parents were born in Kentucky. Leah's father was born in Virginia and her mother in Kentucky. [5]

Death and Legacy

On 5 Jun 1928, David Parker died at age 80 years, 11 months and 11 days in Carter County, Kentucky, USA. David had been occupied as a Farmer and married to Leah Parker at the time of his death. The cause of death was given as Apoplexy. David Parker was buried at Parker Cemetery in Carter, Carter County, Kentucky, USA. [6]
