Biography

Son of Richard and Nancy (Rogers) Parker

He married Mary Jane Lafferty, b: ABT 1785, on 10 Jun 1824 in Sumner Co, TN.[1]

They were the parents of Eliza Jane, Malinda Banks, Sarah Courtney, Catharine, Harriet, John William Newton, Romelia and Maria L. Parker.

They were in Sumner county, Tennessee in 1830 and 1840.[2][3]

They were in Butler county, Kentucky in 1850.[4] They were in Edmondson county, Kentucky in 1860.[5]

Mary passed away before 1870.

He was in Russelville, Logan, Kentucky in 1870.[6] The household included a 15 year old mulatto girl, Mary Parker, who was keeping house, his son John and John's wife Eliza.

In 1880, he was widowed and living in the household of married daughter Eliza (Parker) McGoldrick in Adairville, Logan, Kentucky.[7]
