Elizabeth (Parsons) Durkee was born on 22 Mar 1669 in Gloucester, Essex, Province of Massachusetts Bay, daughter of Jeffrey Parsons Sr. (<1631–1689) and Sarah (Vinson) Parsons (~1636–1708).

He m. probably (2) 4 Dec 172, JEMIMA (NELSON) (BENNETT) TODD of Rowley, who d. 25 April 1752 aged 65 yrs (SG PAR 37; George B. Blodgette, The Early Settlers of Rowley, Massachusetts [1933] 21, 244, 385). He m. (3) 31 Oct., 1754 ELIZABETH (_____) ANDREWS (SG PAR 36). He was a tanner, "several years a Deacon of the First Church, often a Selectman, and a Ruling Elder of the Church at his death... the live on the cut in Gloucester" (ibid.)."
