Mrs. Jane McNeese Succumbs Monday
Mrs. Jane McNeese died at her home in Bedford Monday. The funeral services were held at the Wetmore Funeral Home Wednesday afternoon, conducted by Rev. Gordon F. MacLean. Burial was in the Fairview cemetery.
Tabitha Jane McNeese, daughter of Conway and Clara Parsons, was born in Gentry County, Missouri, being 83 years, 11 months and 1 day at the time of her death.
She was married to John Henderson on McNeese Nov. 26, 1882. To them eleven children were born, George Benjamin McNeese and Lilly Malby of Spokane, Washington; James Oscar McNeese of Phoenix, Arizona; Clara Elizabeth McNeese, Mary Orlean Sleep, Henry Glen McNeese, William Clifford McNeese and Susie Opal Dawson of Bedford; and three sons preceded her in death. Mr. McNeese died April 5, 1933.
She is survived by 28 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 1 great, great grandchild. Also by three brothers, Jim Parsons of Bedford, Bill Parsons of St. Joseph and Obed Parsons of West Plains, Missouri.
