Private First Class Judson Pate was Killed in Action in Italy during World War II.
Judson Pate was born in Appalachia, in Alabama.

Judson Tidwell Pate was born in 1918 to Clarence Pate and Lillie Tidwell in Blountsville, Alabama.

He served the United States Army during World War II. He was a Private First Class in the 339th Infantry Regiment and the 85th Infantry Division. He received the Purple Heart for his service.[1]

He married Novelene Miller on February 11, 1941 in Blount County, Alabama.[2] They didn't have children.

He died, at the age of 26, on April 17, 1945 in Italy.[3] He is buried at the Florence American Cemetery and Memorial, Florence, Città Metropolitana di Firenze, Toscana, Italy.[4]
