Biography

Rachel Paul, daughter of James Paul, was born on 12 April 1804 at New York, USA.[1]

She married William Baxter,[1] son of Nathan Baxter and Anna (Dodge) Baxter, circa 1826.[2]

She and William appeared on the census of 29 Aug. 1850 at Farmington Township, Tioga County, Pennsylvania.[3] She and William appeared on the census of 4 Aug. 1860 at Farmington Township, Tioga County, Pennsylvania.[4] She and William appeared on the census of 15 June 1870 at Nelson Township, Tioga County, Pennsylvania.[5] She appeared on the census of 3 June 1880 in the household of her son, William Henry Baxter and daughter-in-law, Philena (Johnson) Bater, at Nelson Township, Tioga County, Pennsylvania.[6]

Rachel died in 1882 and was buried at Nelson Cemetery, Nelson Township, Tioga County, Pennsylvania.[1] Her memorial has a photo of her headstone that identifies her husband William.[7]
