Husband has taken ancestry DNA test. Looking for parents of Thomas Matison/Madison Hall b. 04Aug1869 Carlisle Co KY.
D. 16Apr1960 Tarrant Co,TX. I have his SS application that states his father as Samuel Hall, mother is Mary (unk) died in childbirth. I found a Mary Hall's DC 06Dec1869 (b. IL) stating she died of cancer of the womb. Trying to prove/disprove this info. I checked obits and census but haven't had any luck. Most close DNA matches are known cousins. I'm still learning... please help. Thanks, Elaine
