Charles Peploe was born in Scotland.
Charles Reid Peploe was born 5 Feb 1890, Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland, son of Major James Reid Peploe[1] and Anna R Fleming.
He married Catherine Mary MacFie on 8th, December 1919 at Edinburgh ,Scotland[2]
Their children:
- David Claud Peploe b. 1921 d. 1941 (In the German bombing of the RN Engineering College Keyham associated wit the naval base HMS Drake, he was a midshipman) & is buried at Weston Mill Plymouth
- Mary Peploe b. 1922
- Charles Norman George Peploe[2]
He was a Captain in the Royal Navy.
He died 8 Feb 1933 (aged 43) at Winchester, City of Winchester, Hampshire, England and was buried at Clayhall Naval Cemetery, Gosport, Gosport Borough, Hampshire, England, PLOT H 3 4 [3]
