Biography
George Perrey was born in Chingford, Essex, England.
George Zach Perrey was born on May 30, 1887 in Chingford, Essex[1]. His parents were George Perrey (1862 - 1917) and Eliza Jane (Noble) Perrey (1861 - 1931). He was baptised at Chingford on 5 June 1998[2].
At the time of the 1901 census, he was a lamp worker in Chingford. At the time of the 1911 census, he was a mechanic for a brass and steel stamp maker. He was living at home with his parents at 35 Alpha Road, Chingford.
George married Dorothea Winifred Freshwater in September 1912 in the Epping district of Essex[3].
George died on July 15, 1936 aged 49 and was buried at the Chingford Mount Cemetery.
