Herbert Alan Fortescue Wilbraham Perryman was born on 13 JUN 1890 in Guildford, Surrey, England. [1]
His first appearance on the census is 1891, when he is less than a year old and living with his family in a house called The Hermitage in Artington near Guildford.[2]
He was educated at Eton College. He was a member of Broadbents House and he left in 1905[3]
He served in the Canadian Army in World War I. He was Corporal, and acting Sergeant, and at least started officer training at Pirbright.[3] [4]
