Biography

Aurilla M. Pettengill (also spelled Pettingill) was born on November 28, 1853, in Milan, New Hampshire. She was the daughter of Larkin Pettengill and Sylbia Vienna Bickford.[1]

She married John C. Richardson (intentions January 1, 1874, at Milan.)[2]

She died on August 23, 1875, according to her gravestone.[3] She is buried in Hillcrest Cemetery, in Milan, New Hampshire.[3] Her husband appears to have remarried in 1877 to Clara M. Brown.[4] John and Clara were living in Gorham, New Hampshire in 1880, with a one year old son[5] — no children at least five years old, indicating John and Aurilla likely did not have any children (or if they did, none that lived to 1880).
