Biography
Eloise was born on April 20, 1921 in Decatur, IL, the daughter of Charles Lewis and Gaynell Catherine (Jones) Pfeifer. She was a 1939 graduate of Decatur High School. She worked at North Oakland Laundry for 24 years and was a homemaker. Eloise was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star Decatur Chapter. In the past she was active with the P.T.A., Girl Scouts, Brownie Troops and was a Sunday School teacher. She also enjoyed crafts, needlework and sewing many items of clothing for her family. Eloise married Burton Elwin Jones on April 22, 1940. He preceded her in death on January 27, 1973.
