Tabitha Childers Davidson, daughter of Abraham Childers. It seems to be a proven fact that Abraham Childers was the brother of Jane Childers, the wife of John Smith of Cumberland. John Smith and Jane Childers Smith had a number of children including Alexander Smith, who married a Buckingham girl named Diana Phelps of Phelps Falls on James River (near the John Hartwell Cocke Bridge on U.
