Mary was born about 1805 the daughter of John Phipps (~1780 - ) and Sarah, and she was christened on the 23rd June 1805 at St Mary the Virgin Church, Chatham, Kent.[1]

Mary married Clark Rook on the 8th August 1824 at St Mary of Charity, Faversham, Kent.[2]

1841 Census on the 6th June 1841 Mary was living at 10 Charles Street, Stepney, Middlesex with her children Rebecca, Emma, Margaret, Jemima, Charles and Alfred.[3]
Mary died aged 41 and her death was registered in the 2nd quarter 1846 in Greenwich, Kent.[4][5]
