Antoine Pillet dit Lasonde was likely born on 19 Apr 1724 in Kaskaskia, Pays des Illinois, la Louisiane française, Nouvelle-France to Pierre Pillet dit Lasonde[1][2][3] and Marie Madeleine Boisron.[4][5]. He was baptized on 20 Apr 1724 at Immaculeé Conception de Notre-Dame at Kaskaskia.[4] His godparents were Antoine Bausseron and Françoise La Brise.[4]

He married Marie Boudreau dit Graveline. [6]

According to documents related to the settlement of his father's estate and census data, Antoine was living in Opelousas Territory in 1768[1], 1774[2], 1776[3], and 1777[7].
