Rhoda was Choctaw.

Rhoda was born in 1814 at Columbus, Lowndes, Mississippi, the daughter of John Pitchlynn and Sophia Folsom. Rhoda passed away 28 Feb 1911 at Garvin, Oklahoma. She is buried at the Howell Cemetery, Garvin County, Oklahoma.[2]

On 25 November 1903 Rhoda assigned Power of Attorney to her daughter Fannie Butterly to select her land allotment.[3][4][5]
