Thomas Plummer was born on March 20, 1756 in Rowley, Essex County, Province of Massachusetts Bay, son of Thomas Plummer (1719–1790) and Bethiah Tenney (1718–1790). ^[3]

Thomas (24) and Elisabeth Chandler (20) were married on September 12, 1780 in Rowley, Massachusetts. ^[3]

Elisabeth was born on August 6, 1760 in Billerica, Middlesex, Massachusetts Bay Colony. She was the daughter of John Chandler and Elisabeth (White) Chandler.
