Biography

John (Pollok) de Pollok is a member of Clan Pollock.

John was the son of John Pollok and Margaret Sempill^[1][2][3] He was loyal to Mary, Queen of Scots, fought with her at the Battle of Langside in 1568, where she was defeated.^[1]

Family

John married Janet Mure, daughter William Mure of Glanderston (Glanderstoune) and Elizabeth Hamilton.^[1][2][3][4] They had the following children:
