Lucy Povall was born in 1738 in Goochland, Colony of Virginia, daughter of Richard Povall (1710–1771) and Tabitha Hudspeth (~1723–1767).

Lucy (17) married William Hudspeth (38) (born about 1717 in Virginia) on January 26, 1756 in Cumberland, Virginia.^[1]

Lucy died on April 17, 1759 in Cumberland, Colony of Virginia, aged 20.
