Biography

John Pratt, son of John Pratt of Dorchester, removed to Medfield in 1655. He acquired the place that had belonged to Henry Glover.

John married Rebecca Colburn of Dedham in Medfield on 26 June 1661.^[1]

John died in Medfield on 4 August 1707.^[2]

His 1707 will, named wife Rebecca and her father Colburn, Henry Smith who married one of his deceased daughters, Timothy Clark who also was married to a deceased daughter, children: John, Mary, Priscilla, Hannah and Sarah. Son John and son-in-law Samuel Wight were named executors.^[3]
