I am looking for my African and my Native American brick walls and missing ancestors.
Rita Hicks is my DNA confirmed FULL SIBLING. Per AncestryDNA, we share 2,360 cM which when uploaded to MyHeritage is analyzed as 2,429.2 cM with 47 Shared segments.
Our parents did not submit to commercial DNA but are confirmed by cousins on each side.
DNA confirmed relationships have been confirmed by triangulating with numerous cousins, a sister, an uncle and a nephew on AncestryDNA, 23&me, and FtDNA.
I do not believe in reinventing the wheel.
If there is a canned statement of DNA confirmation, please do share it with me. Any grandparent I check as DNA confirmed has been triply verified. I find it offensive to require more than that. I welcome PRACTICAL HELP in determining the verbiage.

Thanks for creating pre-1700 profiles like William Hazel (1675-1719) and Elizabeth (Reynolds) Hazel (1680-1750).
Our community standard is that all pre-1700 profiles require at least one reliable source be cited in order to proceed with creation. (Please see Help citing pre-1700 profiles.) In the case of William Hazel, the cited source is Geni, but Geni is a public tree and this not considered a reliable source and thus does not satisfy the requirement. However, sometimes public trees contain sources, in which case, it is a good lead and those sources can be cited. For William Hazel, a photo of what appears to be an original document appears, but I'm not seeing an explanation of what the document is or any helpful transcription.
If you need help with William Hazel, the US Southern Colonies Project is a good place to start since he died in the Province of Maryland.
Please let me know if you need help or clarification on any of this.
Thanks.

I believe what is presently in Wikitree is incorrect as there are more than one WIlliam and Richard same as any other given line but Elizabeth Reynolds Hazel is confused as well.
These are directs for me.
I do not know how to request the assistance of any project but have messaged and posted on a few profiles that I would like to work them out together. Thank you.
Sincerely, Cynthia
Thank you for adding a GEDCOM. The GEDCOM does not automatically populate your tree it generates a GEDCOMpare report which you work through either accepting or rejecting suggested matches, once that has been done, you add any remaining names manually.
The GEDCOMpare process guide has tips on how to use the data in your file most efficiently.

Thanks for merging Abraham Self (1799-aft.1850). When merging, please be careful to not drop the references tag like what happened here.
I've fixed that here along with using Ancestry linking templates.
Let me know if you have any questions or would like help using templates.
Thanks.

I was trying to KEEP everything from the other profile and just add my census interactive link.

Trying to recall what I may have added without a source? Mostly I see stuff waiting to be merged or corrected and am just trying to be patient lol
Yes, it can be tough waiting for merges.
To see what you have done, click on Contributions from the MyWikiTree menu.
On the pre1700 page, scroll down to 1.3.
I am still learning and there is SO much I want to do!
Yes, there is a learning curve to using WikiTree but it sure is worth it.
On your MyWikiTree menu, click Contributions. Then just scroll down. If you want to see more about a specific contribution, click on the profile. For example, yesterday at 13:43 you created Ester Luten.
Here's a direct link to the Pre1700 help page: https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Help:Pre-1700_Profiles#Cite_reliable_sources There is a link there for Reliable Sources, which will then lead to the projects (pick the one where your person lived/died)

(I think I have done all these things. Is it just an automated response?)
Thank you for your comment, however. I appreciate knowing that our actions are monitored.

Some of the profiles here are without sources and I have been researching since 1977. Thank you for your input and suggestions.

Thanks for having a big heart and adopting the Orphaned Profiles. This After Adopting Orphans FAQ explains the special attention those profiles need.
I noticed that you are using Ancestry for sources. We have a template which creates a link to Ancestry records. We suggest that you use that so the SysTech team can keep links working if the URLs are changed by Ancestry again. You can read more about it in the Links to Ancestry FAQ.
Let me know if you have any questions on how to find and record sources, merge duplicates, clean up gedcom biographies, and interpret the Suggestions report. I'm here to help!
