Biography
Sarah was born in North Carolina in 1836. She was the daughter of Howell Harrison Pratt and Mary C. Axton. In 1856 Sarah married Benjamin Franklin Sharp and together they were parents of four children. Benjamin enlisted in the Confederate Army but did not survive the War and in 1864 Sarah became a widow. Sarah passed away in 1910 at age 74.
