On 2 January 1720, perhaps when he was in his late teens, Zachariah married Mary Troth in Evesham Township, Burlington County (she was the daughter of William Troth and Elizabeth Field; she was born c1703 in Evesham Burlington County"[4] and they had two known children, a son and a daughter:

Votes in 1739 election
In 1739 Zachary [sic.] Prichet [sic.] voted for one Sam'l Wolman in a Burlington County, New Jersey election.
Three other Pricketts voted in the election: a Jacob and a John for Wolman; a different John for Mahlon Stacy, who lived in Northampton.[13][14]

Named executor of father-in-law's will
On 10 March 1739 Zachariah was named executor of the will of William Troth, proved, 10 Mar 1739, Evesham, Burlington County, as well as Troth's friend Thomas Busbey. One James Springer was a witness. Will was made 09 Dec 1738. Inventory was made by Hudson Springer.[15][16]

In 1740, Evesham, Burlington County, New Jersey, Zachariah, as well as Troth's other two sons-in-law, William Garwood and Amos Haines, were named as executors of the will of Willim Troath [sic.], William Troath, of Evesham, Burlington Co., yeoman. To Wife, Elizabeth, rents of plantation in tenure of Richard Burden, containing 250 acres adjoining Jacob Heuling, Thomas Evans and Malta Scoxon. [To] Isaac, son of my son Paul (after decease of my wife), 200 acres, formerly belonging to Henery Manley and leased to Richard Burden. [To] Grandson, William Troth. [To] Children of my daughters— Mary Prickett, Jane Garwood and Rebecca Hains. [To] Brother, Edward Troath, living in Great Britain. Executors— sons-in-law, Zachry Pricket, William Garwood and Amos Hains. Witnesses— Richard Borden, William Whitton, Freem. Lippincott, Jun"r. Proved Aug., 1740.[17]

18 Sep 1742: Zachariah was named executor of the estate of Robert Stevens, Northampton, Burlington, New Jersey. Stevens, a weaver who left “my negro woman, Rachel, [and] Negroes, Peter, Meriam, Dina, Charles, Deby and John, to have their freedom.” Executor to have two tombstones placed at the graves of "my wife and me" in Burlington churchyard. Remainder of estate, real and personal, to Zachariah Prickett, whom I appoint sole executor. Witnesses— Patrick Byrne, Mary Ogburn, Sam'll Hall. Proved Oct. 11, 1742.[19][20][21] Inventory, £124.8.6; made by Tho: Shinn and John Osmond. Inventory: valued at L443.10.5 by George Briggs & Thos. Budd, 22 Jan 1753, Northampton, Burlington County, New Jersey.
Zachariah inherited the remainder of Robert Stevens's estate.

On 22 January 1753 in Northampton, Zachariah signed a will: [To] Son Richard, to have house and lot in Mount Holly, known by the name of Robert Stevens' place; also the house and 7 acres where I live. [To] Daughters, Patience Smith, Sarah Simons, Mary Paullis Miers, each 5 shillings. [To] Daughter Hannah Prlckett, £60 when 18. [To] Daughter Hope, £100 when 18. [To] Son Zachariah, plantation where he lives, except what I give to my son Richard as above. Executor- brother, Jacob Prickett. Witnesses-'97 William Foster, John Goldy, James Allen. Zachariah died of unknown causes on 30 January 1753 in Northampton.[24][25]
