Biography

Daniel, son of Daniel Prior and Sarah Eggleston, was baptized on 11 May 1701 in Middletown.^[1]

He married Sarah Gilbert 22 May 1722 in Middletown.^[2]

Daniel wrote his will on the 20th of March 1750 and names the following heirs:

My beloved wife Mary

My beloved son Daniel

Ebenezer my beloved son

My daughter Sarah

My daughter Anna

My daughter Thankful

My daughter Mary

My daughter Experience

My daughter [difficult to read, but may be Susanah]

Note that the will did not mention Ruth. She is mentioned in the document describing the distribution of the land to the daughters, as is Mabel (possibly Mehitabel?) but there is no mention of Susanah or Experience.^[3] I can find no records of an Experience Prior or a Susanah Prior.
